Compatibility

For USB-C devices that support DisplayPort Alternate Mode, such as MacBook Pro (2016-2020), MacBook Air, iPad Pro (2018/2020), iMac, Mac Mini, Dell XPS 13 and 15, Surface Book 2, Chromebook Pixel, and Samsung Galaxy S8 to S20 and Note 8 to Note 10. It does not work with devices without DP Alt Mode, and many USB-C phones and tablets use MHL or SlimPort instead, so check your model first.

FAQ

Is an HDMI cable included?
No. You need an HDMI cable to connect the display; it is sold separately.

Will it work with my phone?
Only if your phone supports DisplayPort Alt Mode over USB-C. Choetech lists Samsung Galaxy S8 to S20 and Note 8 to Note 10; many other phones use MHL or SlimPort and are not supported.

My monitor flickers. What can I do?
With some monitors, a long HDMI cable can make the picture switch on and off. Choetech recommends a short HDMI cable, within 5.9ft, for a stable connection.
