Network compatibility in Canada

This is a global 4G model. Its LTE bands are 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20, 28, 38, 40 and 41, so of the bands used in Canada it supports only 5 (850 MHz) and 7 (2600 MHz). It lacks bands 2, 4, 12, 13, 17 and 66, which means limited coverage and speed on Canadian networks. It suits travel abroad or use as a second phone; for a Canadian main phone see the Galaxy A16 5G.

Only partly: it supports Canadian LTE bands 5 and 7 but not 2, 4, 12, 13, 17 or 66. Ask us before ordering.

Is this the A16 5G?
No, it is the 4G model (SM-A165F/DS). The A16 5G is a different phone.

Can I add storage?
Yes, with a microSD card (the slot is shared with the second SIM).
